1. LIMP BIZKIT – FAITH
A George Michael song is probably not something you’d expect to find on a “nu metal” group’s debut album. Enter Limp Bizkit with their album “Three Dollar Bill, Yall,” with the first verse changing the lyrics to highlight Durst’s narcissism; “I know not everybody, has got a body like me”. The first verse also highlights Durst’s singing ability with him sounding like a severely constipated teenager attempting to serenade his girlfriend over a steaming McDonalds. Also the screaming of the chorus really loses the desired anger when you realise it’s a George Michael song they’re covering.
Apparently George Michael has seen sense, with Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland stating in an interview that George “hated the cover and “hates us for doing it”.
