World Star Hip Hop, a massively popular website which a lot of you may have heard was recently shut down, supposedly by 50 Cent. 50 Cent claimed via Twitter that he was responsible for the closing of the site, tweeting “I don’t know why people underestimate me. I just shut down WORLDSTAR for future advertising contact thisis50.com suckers lol” … clearly Fiddy was pissed at them and wanted to taint their popularity.

WSHH then went on to claim that 50 ‘Aint done shit.”, which yesterday was proven to be true when 50 admitted on an American radio show that in fact it wasn’t him who shut the website down. He said however that he is in the process of suing them for using pictures of him on the site without his permission. 50 then took it upon himself to make another drastic move and he posted a video of him after the radio show shouting at Q from WSHH via a phonecall.

This move (aka, outright lying then retracting the lies, and then shouting aggressively down the phone at someone) could prove to be a bad one due to the World Star Hip Hop’s popularity within the hip hop and urban internet community. A lot of people use WSHH to gain their daily insights into the world of hip hop, and it gets a lot of support and praise both online and offline.

I personally think 50’s gone a bit OTT here, there was no need for him to claim responsibility when it was bound to come out he was lying about it anyway. They should kiss and make up before someone gets hurt.
