I wasn’t really sure where this video was going at first, but I’m glad I watched it all the way to the end because that was incredible. I think I might even be convinced to watch the Women’s World Cup starting this Thursday? I’m just amazed at the effort that went into creating this advert, which has gone ridiculously viral thanks to the clever concept and how well the marketing team/video editors pulled it off. Genuinely one of the best bits of sports marketing I’ve ever seen, and really shows how far video editing has come in recent years.
So yeah, why not check out the Women’s World Cup which begins this Thursday, while we wait for the men’s game to kick off later next month? From the looks of it the US Women’s Team are favourites to win (even though they got spanked 12-0 by Wrexham last month), but France, England, Spain and Germany are all in with a shot too. Big up to Orange for the viral ad for bringing all this extra attention to the competition.
