Absolute nightmare scenario for this poor lady who attended a funeral via Zoom last Friday. There were so many people at the funeral in Barnet, north London, that the organisers decided to livestream it for those who couldn’t attend because the church was so packed. The livestream was playing on a big screen at the front of the church and in a separate overflow room so everyone could see it.

At one point during the service, a 48-year-old mum-of-two managed to log on from her shower and must not have realised her camera was on, and so hundreds of people at the funeral and everyone else watching at home had a front-row seat to her self-care routine, which involved her shaving her pubes:

Mortifying stuff. Worse still, she showed up at the wake afterwards and obviously had no idea that every single person there had just watched a livestream of her shaving her pubes in the shower. Well, she definitely knows about it now because the footage has gone viral on the internet and around her community, which is pretty brutal to be fair. I’m not sure you can leave your house for at least a decade if something like that happens to you? They may as well have held a second funeral for her right there and then.

On the other hand, maybe this was some kind of intentional exhibitionist move? After all, it does seem weird to join a Zoom call for a funeral service, take a shower in the middle of it, and then attend the wake afterwards in person. Maybe this is an ingenious precursor to a big OnlyFans reveal? I mean, even if wasn’t, she may as well at this point. Strong reminder to the rest of us to always keep our cameras off when not actively participating in a Zoom call.
