I haven’t really ever had the privilege of wearing high heels for an extended period of time, but what I’ve gathered from all the women I know is that it’s really difficult to do and really hurts your feet.

Judging by this video, they could quite easily lead to your death as well. It was filmed over in Nogales, Sonora, in Mexico and shows a woman named Minerva attempting to run across a busy road in high heels.

Needless to say, it doesn’t go well. This is pretty distressing stuff so if you don’t wanna see a woman slip over and get the crap smashed out of her by a car then don’t watch it:

Ouch. I thought that Minerva might be dead following that collision, but reports have emerged that she was taken to the nearest hospital and is in a stable condition despite suffering multiple injuries including fractures to her left knee and elbow, injuries to her right hand and bruising to her body.

A lucky escape then, but a warning to everyone else that you really shouldn’t try and run across the road in high heels when you’re not looking where you’re going. Really dumb idea.
