A woman over in Willenhall has been jailed for playing an Ed Sheeran song at top volume on repeat. To be fair, I’d warrant her arrest just for playing it the one time.

Sonia Bryce played the song ‘Shape Of You’ over and over again, which the judge said caused a, “wholly unacceptable level of disturbance”.
Apparently it was actually her landlords, Walsall Housing Group Ltd, who landed the court order barring her from creating an annoyance. She was arrested repeatedly for breaching the order and was handed six-weeks in the slammer for her offences last year.

Clearly she didn’t learn her lesson, as she decided to play the same Ed Sheeran song again on a loop for half an hour before her neighbours had enough and complained. Shortly after that, Sonia was back in court where the judge gave her an eight week sentence. The judge said:
You must learn that you should behave as a reasonable and responsible adult and not make life for your neighbours the misery that you have.
To be fair to Sonia, I’m assuming she must have some sort of mental problem – to listen to Ed Sheeran on repeat is insane enough, but then to have it on full volume and to not learn from her previous prison sentence proves that she’s missing a few marbles upstairs. Fingers crossed this time she gets the message.
