If there’s one way to throw police off the scent of the drugs in your possession, it would be to keep them in a bag that has ‘definitely not a bag of drugs’ emblazoned on the side. Or so you would think if you were Florida woman Teryn Acri.

Teryn was in the passenger’s seat of a car that was pulled over by police for a traffic stop in Florida last week. She was carrying a tote that had ‘definitely not a bag full of drugs’ written on it – but turned out to be the opposite.

Inside the bag, police found methamphetamine, needles, narcan, digital scales and cut straws. Here, have a gander:

The dumbest part about it is that Teryn had already been busted on a drugs charge 10 days earlier, and was bonded out two days later. She obviously didn’t learn her lesson because she ended up being busted again on this traffic stop and is now back in jail.

Teryn has now been charged with trafficking meth, possessing methamphetamine with intent to sell and possessing drug paraphernalia.

From the sounds of it, the courts in Florida will probably give her another ridiculous bond and she’ll be out again in no time doing the same thing all over again.

In any case, fair play to the Florida police for discovering Teryn’s drugs stash when it was so cunningly disguised. You would think that they’d take one look at the ‘Definitely not a bag full of drugs’ bag and leave it alone. They’re obviously so thorough and professional and meticulous that they decided to check anyway, just in case. That’s the sort of top tier policing we love to see.
