The return of DFA 1979 is one of the most exciting things to happen in the music bizz for quite some time, as after a 5 year hiatus where they focussed on other projects like MSTRKRFT and Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains (the latter being not so successful) they have done the bloody right thing and re-united. Their album ‘You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine’ remains to be one of my favourite albums from my youth, and to see them live is always an absolute treat.
After two sell out London HMV Forum shows earlier this month, Death From Above 1979 have announced two shows for October in Manchester and London – and we have managed to blag a pair of tickets for their Manchester show from the guys over at gigs and tours.
