Well, better late than never I guess. Would have been nice for Will Smith to apologise to Chris Rock on the day it happened seeing as he got up on stage and gave a whole speech for Best Actor moments after the slap occurred. Although I guess one can only apologise when they’re ready, although we can debate how sincere the apology is until the cows come home. Maybe he was too busy dancing to Getting Jiggy With it to apologise until now? Maybe he was too preoccupied with the idea of Tupac banging his wife to offer a genuine apology until now? No one knows why it took so long except Will Smith himself. Although unfortunately for him it sounds like Chris Rock still doesn’t want to speak to him.

I wonder if Will watched the scenes with Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart the other night, and that’s why he’s decided to issue an apology now. Or maybe he has a new project coming up and needs some good Will (pun not intended but intended). Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
