A pro-Palestinian activist started some kind of mice jihad at McDonald’s in Birmingham this week after letting loose dozens of the creatures at the branch in Star City.
As you might expect, it caused absolute pandemonium:

The idea is that McDonald’s is apparently supporting the Israeli bombardment on Palestine, with the original video captioned ‘Targeted boycott. The Big Three. Start by boycotting these brands that are directly involved in supporting the Israeli apartheid.’ I’m not sure who this stunt is really going to affect apart from the poor staff who have no say about anything and have to clean it all up, but I guess other major brands like Nike, Burger King and Domino’s Pizza better keep their heads on a swivel.
McDonald’s confirmed in a statement that a number of the animals were set loose inside the location, but said they have been removed: ‘Following the removal of the mice, the restaurant has been fully sanitised and our pest control partners have been called out to conduct a full inspection.’
Still, at least no one found the rat in their actual meal… like this poor lady over at KFC.
