I don’t know about you but I never have any desire to head out on Boxing Day/Christmas afternoon/whenever the sales start and try and pick up some after Christmas bargains. I have way better things to do with my Boxing Day/Christmas day like sit on the couch reading comic books, watching football, getting drunk and playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with my family. OK so maybe they aren’t better things to do than going shopping, or even very good in general but I think I would prefer to do them then suffer the carnage that is going on at the Westfield Centre today. I haven’t seen pictures like this since we did a post about Black Friday in the states (Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving over there when the sales hit and everyone goes crazy and literally beats the absolute crap out of each other in order to get the bargains) and although people aren’t exactly fighting each other I still can’t actually believe how so many people can be so desperate to actually be bothered to go to a shopping centre on Boxing Day and wait around and queue like this when they could just be hanging out at home getting drunk and watching Soccer Saturday (Boxing Day?) or whatever. Or even just hitting the sales on line FFS.

I would probably rather be doing anything than hanging out at the Westfield Centre judging by these pictures, and I doubt I even know anyone stupid enough who would actually want to go. I know they have a really good LEGO store where I can pick up some sweet minifigures but I doubt that they would be too discounted in the Boxing Day sales because they only cost like one or two quid anyway. Allow the sales and allow Westfield, enjoy these photographs if you just sat on your couch all day and be glad that you’re not there like these idiots.
