‘Prison Break’ was one of the most loved television shows of the mid 00s – even if it looks pretty dated now – and fans were recently super pumped about the possibility of a sixth series after leading man Dominic Purcell claimed that it was in the works via his Instagram account.

Unfortunately though, any return looks like it won’t be featuring the other lead actor Wentworth Miller after he took to his Instagram account as well to announce that he would no longer be playing straight characters in any of his roles. Of course, that meant that he wouldn’t be able to reprise the role of Michael Schofield for ‘Prison Break’ – here’s what he had to say:
I gotta say fair enough to the guy for using his platform and his career to promote LGBTQ+ stories and not just taking an easy pay cheque by doing another series of ‘Prison Break’ that will likely not be very good and further tarnish its legacy. I can understand that people might be disappointed by his decision but I’ve got two things for you to consider here: 1) look at the bigger picture 2) if you’re gutted about a ‘Prison Break’ sixth series not happening in 2020 then you really need to re-examine what you value in your life and get a hobby or something. Just get over it already.
