Hairy Frog Fish
Who wants the Latin name?: Antennarius striatus – nice. They blend in with coral thanks to their fleshy, hairy spindles and can change colour to blend in even further. They catch their dinner using a weird lure on their forehead and an immense amount of patience.
Here’s some footage of Hairy Frog Fish taking a stroll with it’s bubba in tow. Towards the end you can see it wriggling it’s worm-like lure getting ready for lunch. What a strange, strange beast.
