2. BMW Lovos
I like the way this one strays well away from smooth lines and circles. It looks like a partially descaled fish. A kind of semi-dead shark. It was designed by 24-year-old Pforzheim University graduate Anne Forschner and it looks mental. The flaps that are all over the car sit flush against the body whilst travelling and open out to be used as an air break when stopping. A pretty cool idea, although I’m not sure how much difference they would make if you were hurtling along?
And if you were wondering what the Lovos stands for, it’s “Lifestyle of Voluntary Simplicity”. Sorry, what? Anyway, weird isn’t it?
