9) Goliath Birdeater

Yes, yes, I know it’s not an insect you fool. But it’s creepy and massive and I thought you’d like to have a look at it. The goliath birdeater is one of the biggest and heaviest arachnids out there. It actually doesn’t eat birds very often, it’s more likely to eat insects, rodents and frogs with the occasional lizard and snake thrown in to make sure it’s getting it’s 5 a day. Its fangs are the size of a cheetah’s claw….. woah.
