Australia — the kind of place you find deadly creatures, hot weather and good beer. Well, this guy seems to be taking advantage of all three as you can see in this video.

The unnamed man was filmed enjoying a cold one in the middle of the ocean while throwing his pet snake around like it’s a piece of string. After a couple of throws, he picks the snake up and passionately kisses it in the face. The video was posted on Instagram by Indiana Bones. He wrote:

There’s currently a bloke down here drinking a VB tally and chucking his pet snake around. Amazing.

I mean, what? I can imagine a bit of pet tomfoolery with a dog, but how does he manage it with a potentially dangerous snake? Still, he looks happy as Larry doesn’t he? If this is representative of the carefree lives of Australians then sign me up now please, I want in. Check it out:

I just love this — it sort of reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Bart goes to see the President of Australia and finds him naked in a rubber ring in the middle of a billabong. So. Laid. Back.
