The war between Russia and Ukraine rages on, but it mostly seems to have been pushed to the background in this country after people decided to get rid of the Ukrainian flags on their profile pictures and focus on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock instead. Can’t say I’m not guilty of that either, although I never put a flag on my profile picture at least.

Anyway, it sounds as if things are going much better for Ukraine than originally expected and they’re doing a pretty good job of holding their ground and repelling Russian forces, although obviously they’re have been some horrific incidents as well and being at war is absolutely awful. This video below shows just how crap Russia have been in some instances in the conflict, with one Ukrainian tank managing to take on an entire Russian convoy thanks to a sneak attack:

#Ukraine: Remarkable footage of a single UA T-64BV tank engaging a Russian convoy, destroying a BTR-82A from an ambush position. Though other shots miss, appears that this held up the convoy enough for UA indirect fire to strike it, taking out other armour & leading to a retreat. pic.twitter.com/Ax8o23htMD

OK so that is slightly confusing footage and you do have to question if it’s real – I think those accounts are verified though – but you can clearly see the one tank firing on the convoy and slowing it down and forcing it to retreat. That’s pretty badass.
It’s not so cool that one Russian soldier fires an anti tank missile that misses and blows up a house, or that the footage ends with a load of soldiers deploying from the convoy to presumably try and take the tank out. Let’s hope he made it out of there to fight another day.
For more of the same, check out these Ukrainian soldiers celebrating as they take a ride in a captured Russian tank. Gotta love that.
