Sam Smith has seemingly been getting on everyone’s nerves recently after wearing a really dumb outfit to the Brit Awards and dressing up as the devil to perform at the Grammys, but I’m not sure if they deserve what’s happening to them in the video below.

Sam was hanging out in Central Park minding their own business yesterday when some woman came out of nowhere and immediately started screaming at them for being a sick, demonic, twisted bxstard who belongs in hell. She then proceeded to call them a paedophile and a groomer.

Yeah that’s a bit much isn’t it, especially considering it’s just because the person dressed up as the devil for a silly little TV performance of a song called ‘Unholy’. What the hell else were they supposed to do within that context? It’s called showbiz honey, give the person a break!

I would normally say something like ‘that’s the price you have to pay for fame’ etc, but I don’t really think anyone deserves to be called a paedophile or a groomer when there’s literally no evidence linking them to any sort of behaviour like that. Sam Smith sounds like they’re used to it now though since coming out as non binary, so I guess at least it doesn’t seem to bother them so much. Still feel a bit sorry for them having to put up with this crap.
