I’m not really sure what I think about all these climate change and oil protesters creating more and more unhinged ways of capturing the nation’s attention because let’s face it, a lot of the time all they’re doing is pissing everyone off, but this woman did at least manage to go viral after pulling off a remarkably composed interview whilst being dragged away by police.

A number of Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion protesters camped out in the road on many of the bridges of London over the weekend and a load of them were arrested by police due to their actions. One female protester managed to articulate her point in the arms of police for a video though and it’s been viewed millions of times due to her calmness in what you can only describe as a quite ridiculous situation.

Yeah I think however you rate her methods you can’t really criticise the way that she’s presenting her case there. People are arguing that she has a better understanding of facts and figures than most of the current government, but I think that’s probably a bit of a stretch given that it’s only a 15 second clip and most of those guys are normally annihilated by whoever’s interviewing them for ten minutes or so. Not that I’m trying to defend the incumbent government of course – they completely suck.
Anyway, despite realising this hyperbole, I gotta say this woman has a point and carries herself very well. I really doubt that anyone in a position of power is going to listen to her and do anything about it though sadly. So it goes.
