Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been going on for almost a year now and doesn’t really show any signs of stopping, so it’s not surprise that the two nations still absolutely have it in for each other.

Some brainiac out there thought that it would be a good idea to house a team from each of the nations in the same hotel over in Turkey and obviously it wasn’t too long before a massive scrap broke out. Players from Russian second division side Shinnik Yaroslavl and Ukrainian Premier League outfit FC Minaj were involved after a drunk Russian player was inappropriate to a member of staff and a Ukrainian player stepped in to try and defuse the situation.
He had the exact opposite effect as there was a huge brawl between both teams that ended up with four broken bones in the Russian camp. You can have a look at some footage below:
“We are not the initiators of this conflict,” said general director of the Russian “Shinnik” FC, Sergei Kulakov.

Geez that is some lame video isn’t it? I was hoping for some major fight footage when I heard that some bones had been broken but that barely shows us anytihng. Annoying.
Anyway, if you want to see a real fight then check out this absolutely brutal Ukrainian football hooligan fight. That’s more like it.
