King Charles has only been in the position for a couple of months, but it seems like his tenure isn’t going down too well in York as he and Camilla were pelted with eggs as they visited the city.

23 year old Extinction Rebellion member Patrick Thelwell was the culprit as the King and Queen consort performed a walkabout in the Mickelgate area of the city. He was quickly tackled to the ground by police and escorted from the area by them.

Lol what a lame throw. You would think if you’re going to egg the King from that distance then the least you could do is get in on target, right?

Patrick had a real chance to make an impact there but he just ended up looking stupid really stupid and lame there didn’t he, especially after he got arrested straight away. What an absolute melt.
