It’s been a while since those annoying guys from ‘Just Stop Oil’ have pulled off a stunt that completely undermined their message and achieved the opposite result from what they were hoping, but they were back in style last night at the World Snooker Championships.

Some stupid jobber decided to invade the arena during a match between Joe Perry and Robert Milkins in Sheffield, jumping on the snooker table and emptying a packet of orange powder all over the table. The crowd was almost unanimous in their disregard for the stunt as a chorus of boos reigned out whilst he kneeled down looking like an idiot.
The footage is quite funny though:

Lol that guy looks like such a knob doesn’t he? What a lamewad.
Anyway, I usually say this when these guys perform their little stunts, but I don’t really think that doing stuff like this is going to help their cause because everyone in the country seems to unanimously hate them when they pull them. I get that they’re doing it to achieve the highest audience possible, but when people like me who are generally sympathetic to these causes are calling them knobs, then I think you’ve gotta rethink your strategy. Good luck with that.
For more of the same, check out when some of them threw soup over a priceless Vincent Van Gogh painting. Cool stunt guys.
