Whether you think Joe Rogan is a champion of free speech, a major idiot, a great interviewer with some questionable views or somewhere in between, I don’t think that anyone can watch the clip below and not agree that he comes across as a bit of a tool in it.

Rogan was interviewing Bryan ‘Hotep Jesus’ Sharpe – who I’m happy to admit that I’ve never heard of ever – when he decided to bring up a bill that the government was trying to pass over in Australia to prevent people from growing their own food. He then does a bunch of stupid voices about how the government are stupidly claiming this was to prevent pandemics but how they’re actually trying to control us or crack down on antivaxxers before his producer Jamie butts in to tell him there’s not even a whiff of a mention on Google about the article.
Of course, he doesn’t believe him before searching for the article himself and then finally being forced to admit that it’s fake. It’s really quite a funny exchange:

Lol. Love the way that this Bryan ‘Hotep Jesus’ Sharpe person tries to stall for Rogan looking it up saying that they’re trying to control us, then after they’ve figured out that the article doesn’t exist – and there doesn’t sound like there’s even a fake article on the internet – he tries to say that this is how it starts with a warning. But there literally isn’t a warning or even a fake/satire article, it’s literally something that Joe Rogan has just made up in his head and got really angry about for no real reason. Classic Rogan.
I think that’s the problem a lot of people have with Rogan – he just airs his views a lot of the time without ever really having done any research on the subject and with such an influential platform he can cause a lot of people to believe stuff that has no basis in reality. Like the time when he told everyone he used horse dewormer to beat COVID and loads of people in Alabama started stealing it and injecting themselves with it and got real sick. That’s just not a useful way to behave by anyone involved.
