Last night featured one of the more bizarre lineups for a TV panel show in recent times, with Danny Dyer joining Jeremy Corbyn and Pamela Anderson to talk politics and football on Good Evening Britain, no doubt cashing in on the rollover audience from England’s World Cup game.

And of course Danny Dyer didn’t fail to disappoint, going on an expletive ridden rant about Brexit in front of a bemused Jeremy Corbyn, culminating in him repeatedly calling David Cameron a twat. You can always rely on Danny Dyer:

I mean you always know you’re going to get some A+ quality entertainment when Dyer is involved don’t you? Whoever at ITV decided to get him in following the World Cup game is an absolute genius as I can bet that the ratings stayed steadily consistent. Hell, maybe they even went up when people heard that this was happening via Twitter or whatever. Gotta hand it to them there – ITV don’t get much right but that is a major major win. Well done.
