The country of Argentina doesn’t look like it’s stop celebrating since winning the World Cup on Sunday evening and the citizens of Buenos Aires were in for an even bigger treat yesterday as their heroes were due to parade on an open top bus around the city with a national holiday declared by President Alberto Fernandez.

Unfortunately though, the parade had to be cut short and the players airlifted to safety after it was deemed too dangerous when two fans tried to jump on top of the bus whilst it was passing under a bridge. One fan actually made it onto the bus – but was quickly apprehended by security – whereas the other rather scarily fell down onto the ground after missing it. Doesn’t look like it was too far a drop though at least.
You can catch footage of the jump below:
Due to an accidents like this, it was decided by security reasons, that team couldn’t do a full tour 🎥

Absolutely wild over there isn’t it? Really does mean so much to the Argentinians doesn’t it. Must feel so good for Lionel Messi to finally do it for them. Respect to the GOAT.
