I’ll be the first to admit that escape rooms and Halloween horror mazes or whatever you want to call them can be super scary and frightening, but I think everyone taking part of them should know that it’s all an act and not actually get violent/physical with anyone during them.

Unfortunately not everyone got the memo as you can see in the clip below. It comes from an escape room over in Russia where a female worker was full on clobbered by a participant after she ran in to scare him.
Take a look at the footage and hear what Rina Runenko had to say about the assault below:
The game was late. Booked by a girl, she said, ‘Can I go with children?’
I said, if you are a responsible person, then you can, but they can be scared, even though the quest is contactless.
They came, and they seemed to be a very positive team. I heard from the first reaction that they were scared, yes.
Oh, I thought, ‘Cool, now I’ll give them a show’.
I jump in there, walk over the bridge. I open the door to run in – and the last thing I remember is I’m flying, because a fist is flying at me.
My boyfriend ran in. He said, ‘What are you doing?’ And the man who hit me replied, ‘I didn’t do anything.’
They showed him [the footage that was caught] on the cameras, he understood that there was no denying it and said, ‘I did it so that the children would not be frightened’.
Lol I love the way he tried to get out of it by just straight up denying that he did anything. Wasn’t me! Should work every time.
Fortunately for the guy, Rena has decided not to press charges despite hurting her shoulder, hand, elbow and thigh. What an absolute doll.
You might not be so lucky though so remember not to get too involved next time you end up in an escape room. Words of the wise.
For more of the same, check out when these robbers broke into an escape room because they thought it was a real bank. Morons.
