‘Wakey Wines’ has been one of the viral sensations of the year after they started selling Prime for around £100 a bottle and then filmed everyone coming in and being massive mugs and actually buying it, but fans were shocked earlier this year when owner Mohammad Azir Nazir was revealed to have been a massive drug dealer in a former life.

Apparently the police don’t think that Nazir has left his criminal life behind though, recently raiding the shop in a search for class A drugs. Somewhat bizarrely, Nazir acutally posted a video to TikTok admitting that the shop had been subject to a raid, but also revealing a certificate which says that no drugs were found on the premises.

Thank you very much West Yorkshire Police, you’ve done a great job, so that proves it – bossman at Wakey Wines is a legit guy.
I’m a changed man and have left that life behind.
Thank you to my haters, I’ve got a big surprise for you.
So carry on hating me, you do what you’re going to do, I’ll do what I’m going to do, me and my team.
Nothing illegal was found in my shop and I’m now open for business again.
What’s the best shop in Wakey? Wakey Wines.
Well I guess you can’t really argue with some hokey looking certificate in a social media post can you? To be honest it would be fairly ridiculous if this guy was still dealing drugs after selling Prime for those prices – I guess as this point you could argue that Prime is somewhat of a drug itself though – and even stranger if he was keeping them on his shop premises too. Makes much more sense for him to have a lab somewhere off site doesn’t it if he was going to do something like that.
For more of the same, check out the official Wakey Wines music video. Maybe that’s a bit too far.
