In news that didn’t really surprise anyone last week, WWE CEO and billionaire white guy Vince McMahon was accused of sexual misconduct in a report by the Wall Street journal. It alleged that he paid an employee $3 million to keep quiet about an affair and that there were also a number of other problematic situations that have yet to be revealed.

McMahon immediately stepped down from his position in the company whilst the WWE board carried out an investigation into his conduct, but that didn’t stop him showing up on Friday Night Smackdown last week and receiving a standing ovation. He bopped down to the ring with his signature millionaire’s strut before delivering a short speech on the mic, dropping it and then going around shaking the hands of fans around the ring.

Take a look at the footage below:

Yeah, doesn’t seem like there’s any love lost there for Vince whatsoever does there? I’m not really sure if this is the aftermath of the Johnny Depp trial and the end of the #MeToo movement or just that nobody really cares that Vince paid a woman $3 million to cover up their affair?  Maybe people think that’s a badass move or maybe they just don’t even think it’s that much of a big deal given what some other people have been accused of in the past?

Whichever it is, it doesn’t seem like the WWE fans are that bothered about it and are still going to keep supporting Vince and the other wrestlers. I suppose there was ‘no chance in hell’ of that going down any other way was there? We’ll see how the investigation pans out and whether that support is retained, but I’m betting it probably will be because I imagine most WWE fans are complete meatheads. You heard it her first.

For more of the same, check out Vince taking the worst Stone Cold Stunner in history back in April. Maybe he should have been fired for that?
