I don’t know what you guys think, but I struggled to get through the video below without completely wigging out. The horrific footage shows a giant web of thousands of enormous of spiders, known as the Anelosimus eximius species, hanging from the sky like a cloud.

This species are know for their massive colonies, hence why they are covering such a large area. It almost looks like its raining spiders – I can’t think of anything worse really.

Luckily this phenomenon only happens in hotter weather, although as we can see, things are heating up over at this area of the world. You never know – in 10 years or so we too might have to partake in mass suicide once these fuckers make their way over here.

This particular video was filmed in Brazil, where there seems to be a lot of spider problems. Luckily there are also badass people who can tackle these eight-legged freaks, like this dude who takes on a massive house tarantula with the bravery of a heroic army general. Hats off to you sir.
