The media has been filling up with tributes, old stories and classic moments in homage to the one and only Prince, following his sad and sudden death yesterday.

Aside from all of the musical moments, this probably has to be one of the best as it proves why Prince maintained his absolute badman status throughout his entire life and didn’t put up with no douchebags, no matter how famous their implants had become. The video below, which has been doing the rounds again since it first came out in 2011, shows Prince push Kim Kardashian to get off the stage, before saying:

Welcome to America.

Before the awkward shoving, he had invited her to join him onstage to dance during a show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, instead of giving it a go, she just stood there like a muppet. Prince quite rightly decided that she was boring as fuck and booted her off the stage to save both of them the embarrassment. Love it. No matter how famous they are, Prince would not put up with someone who is as dull as a wooden spoon. Oh god, Prince. You were the best – why did you have to leave us so early?
