I’m not gonna apologise for writing so much about the Utah monolith at the moment because let’s face it, it’s one of the more interesting stories out there right now and it’s taking us away from the doom and gloom of lockdown/tier system/coronavirus news that’s dominating most of the headlines. It’s just such a mystery.

We told you earlier that the monolith had disappeared in the middle of the night over the weekend, but now an Instagram account belonging to a guy named Ricardo Marino is saying that he saw a truck remove the monolith during the midnight hours and a pool of urine and a message saying ‘Bye Bitch’ was left in its place. Here’s exactly what he had to say:

What is going on here then? The way that it seems to have been left with a pee stain and an offensive message kinda suggests that it was some vandals or pranksters that have manouvred it out of there, but even so it seems like a massive operation that would have taken a lot of time and money to execute, so you’ve gotta think that there’s something more going on here.
Again, my first thought it that it’s some (massively successful) viral campaign for some new kind of product, but I’ve got no clue what that might be or who might be behind it. Hoping that all will be revealed soon and it won’t be some massive disappointment. Might be better if it’s just left as a mystery forever though hey.
