The US Navy has spent the last few years spending millions on developing its laser technology and now it’s here.
They’re way better than missiles – you can fire them more quickly and they cost about one dollar per shot as opposed to thousands for a missile – and they’re currently being used to annihilate small boats and planes that come close to their ships without permission.
