Skate videos are constantly pushing the barrier as they try and come up with the next big thing in terms of stunts, tricks and the overall general sickness of the video.
However, sometimes it’s better to take a step back as this skate video proves. It’s called urban isolation and the hook is just that – everyone has been removed from the video aside from the skater as he skates through and urban environment which would normally be packed with the hustle and bustle of the city and thousands of people and cars.
The effect is haunting and beautiful, and the result is an unforgettable video although whether it’s as good as Bob Burnquist’s dreamland or this guy doing Tony Hawk’s style combos in real life is debatable.
