5. Owen Penrice – I’ll Never Beg

Back on our shores now. Owen Penrice is a singer/songwriter from modest Devon but his voice is much more soulful than that. If you like The Maccabees, The Streets and old school Artic Monkeys then you’ll love him. He has those warm English tones that make you want to put a hat on and go outside. He’s actually *just* been signed by Off The Bones only last week – so congrats to him, but I still think he deserves a place here.
