Looks like we can finally put to bed those rumours of Kate Middleton being under the mask of the villainous Unknown character at the now-infamous Willy Wonka event in Glasgow, with the actress behind the mask revealing herself to the world this weekend.

Just an unknown 16-year-old from Glasgow who’s now one of the biggest viral sensations going. Which is even funnier when you consider that her character, The Unknown, has nothing to do with Willy Wonka or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the first place, and is just some creep that was dreamed up by the creator of the shambolic event (or whatever AI app he used to put it together).
As shambolic as the whole thing thing was, it looks like this saga will prove to be a blessing in disguise for everyone involved as the internet and media can’t seem to get enough of the failed Willy Wonka event, or anyone who was involved in it. The Unknown was this young lady’s first acting gig, but it definitely won’t be her last. What a world!
