A uni student who sent out a homophobic Tweet about his professor has gone viral with a classic example of how not to use Twitter.

The University of Alabama student didn’t count on Professor Eric Mendenhall ever seeing the Tweet, but sure enough he did.
His response was absolutely spot on:
Yet another fine example of why you should always think before you Tweet in 2016. This kid will now forever be known as the homophobic dumbass who risked his education just so he could insult his gay professor to 100 people online. You just can’t get away with it in this day and age – end of.
