I don’t know much about underwater spear fishing, but I assume that it requires a lot of skill as you have to tag the fish pretty sharply right there and then if you want to catch it. I don’t think the same can be said for underwater fishing with a modified underwater 9mm Glock though.

Nevertheless, someone has invented one and decided to go out off the coast of Mexico to shoot some lionfish for fun. Apparently they’re an invasive species that have no natural predator and their unkempt population growth is destroying the natural environment underwater there, so it’s legit it do this stuff. Hmmm:
Wow. I mean there’s no doubt that having an underwater Glock is absolutely sick, but I’m not sure if it’s that cool that they’re just going around shooting fish like that, even if they are an invasive species? verdicts a bit out on that one.
Sweet underwater gun though sure. If they’re mass marketed though I fear for the future of spear fishing and all the idiots that are going to get involved shooting guns underwater. Not sure it’s such a good idea.
For more spear fishing, check out this spear fisherman getting attacked by a 12 foot great white shark. Underwater Glock would probably have been quite useful in that situation.
