The most recognisable UFC ring girl is hanging up her b00ty shorts after 16 years in the game, announcing her retirement with a final appearance at UFC 296 on the weekend.
She capped off he career by winning 2023 Ring Girl of the Year at the World MMA Awards in Las Vegas on Saturday, which I’m guessing is an award she’s won plenty of times before.

Brittney said: “I truly am honored to accept this award. Thank you to the UFC, Fighter’s Only, and all the fans who voted for me. Well, there’s no better time to say it. But after 16 years with UFC, I’ve decided to retire. This weekend will be my last event, and I’m so absolutely grateful for this unforgettable experience.”
And thus, we bid adieu to the greatest MMA ring girl of all time (is there even anyone else in the running?). To be fair I think most MMA fans didn’t even know Brittney Palmer’s name until she announced her retirement, which I guess means she’s been doing her job properly because the idea was always to dilute the ultra-masculine, testosterone-heavy UFC events by parading around the ring but without distracting from the event and fighters themselves.
So what will Brittney Palmer do with her life now? Well, apparently, she’s a really good artist and once almost quit the UFC to pursue that dream, so she’ll have plenty of time for that now. Let’s round this one off with some of Brittney Palmer’s artwork + photos of the legend herself.
