Everyone was pretty worried about Blink 182 drummer/Kourtney Kardashian’s husband Travis Barker last week after it emerged that he had been rushed to hospital and his daughter sent out an Instagram story asking for our prayers, but thankfully it looks like he’s going to be OK.

We hadn’t heard from Travis himself since the hospitalisation, but he posted the following message on his Instagram story over the weekend explaining what had happened:

I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.

During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed, right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted severe life threatening pancreatitis.

I am so very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better.

That’s reassuring isn’t it? Sounds like it was pretty serious stuff but being a multi millionaire drummer, Barker was probably always going to get the best treatment and sort himself out.

Let’s hope that this doesn’t mean that he’s going to make another Machine Gun Kelly album or whichever loser he’s been hanging out with lately. Would be better if he just left the public eye entirely because his appearances on the new season of ‘The Kardashians’ are hardly that inspiring either.

Give it a rest please Travis – you’re turning into the king of cringe and it’s not  good look and this health scare is the perfect opportunity. Please.
