The Travelling Band are a unique blend of folk-rock-country-pop and tipped as one of the most exciting groups to come out of the Manchester music scene for quite some time.
“An inventive brand of guitar-laden country folk pop with a cosmic aesthetic and sprinkles of trademark Manchester’s musical lineage.” Clash Magazine
“Sweet harmonies, strong song writing and an unforced take on country rock make for a beguiling debut” Independent on Sunday
As the in-house band at Deaf Institute for a while, they started to gain hype and garnered a cult following as a result. Since then they have been extensively touring to promote their new album ‘Screaming is Something’ and we at Sick Chirpse have been lucky enough to get our hands on a pair of tickets, courtesy of gigs and tours, for their Manchester show at Academy 3 on 2nd November.
