The movie, billed as ‘T2 Trainspotting’, will see the original cast to the 90s classic reunited, including Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, Johnny Lee Miller and Ewen Bremner (Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud). In the second trailer, which dropped this morning, you can see Danny Boyle has chosen not to stray away from all of the sounds, quotes and characteristics that made the original movie so popular:
What’s good about this sequel is that Boyle has made sure not to stray from the original cast and storyline. It appears to transport the viewer back to the exact same spot the last movie left off.
Although not much else has been revealed about the plot, author Irvine Welsh did mention that the cast will find a “very innovative” way to get involved in the world of pornography.
Can’t wait for its release. Not long to go now either – it will in the cinemas by January 17th 2017, so put that one in the diary.
I wonder if Oasis finally made it onto the soundtrack? They turned down Boyle’s first offer because they actually thought the film was about trainspotting. Idiots.
