7. David Carradine – Kung Fu (1972)
David Carradine is Bill in Kill Bill to most of us (I would’ve said spoiler alert but if you haven’t watched it all ready the likelihood is that you won’t); but once upon a time casting came a calling for a Buddhist monk named Kwai Chang Caine, there was only one man for the job: Californian born, American actor and blonde bombshell, David Carradine.
Although he may have ended up strung up like Michael Hutchence in a wardrobe after wanking himself to death you can be assured that he went out knowing he will go down as one of the great Asian actors of 70s cinema, despite being 100% not Asian. God bless Hollywood.
