A planet that wiped out life on Earth millions of years ago could do it again this month, according to a top space scientist.

Planet Nine — a new planet discovered at the edge of the solar system in January — was responsible for triggering comet showers that bombed the Earth’s surface and annihilated all life from existence, says the University of Louisiana’s Daniel Whitmire.
The astrophysicist says the planet has a 20,000-year orbit around the sun and, at its closest to us, it knocks asteroids and comets toward Earth which will eventually cause untold devastation.
Might seem a frightening prospect at first but the more I think about it, the more I realise Planet Nine destroying the Earth wouldn’t actually be so bad. I mean think of all the events it would prevent — Donald Trump becoming President, Kanye West becoming President, Kim Jong-un existing, the rest of us having to pay off our student loans / mortgages, having to wake up and go to school / work. Destroying the Earth would literally solve all the Earth’s problems.
Come on Planet Nine, let’s do this. Don’t pussy out on us the way all the other planets/meteors that were meant to destroy the Earth did. Prove these doomsday scientists right just one time. Make it happen.
