3) The Italian Cat Eater

Now, brace yourself Chirpsers, you’re not going to like this. It involves the killing and eating of cats. Sorry about that.

Basically a mental fella in Italy has been posing as a cat lover, touring cat sanctuaries and picking up three-year old black cats with a bit of meat on them.

The father of two would then take them home, kill them and eat them. He was also kind enough to feed them to friends and family members (without their knowledge).

The 50-year-old Mr Lorenzo Croce from Brianza, Italy finally aroused suspicion after he avoided routine welfare checks. They sprung a surprise visit on him and caught him in the act of killing one of the poor moggies.

He could face a year in prison and a fine of £12,000.

Now I know this won’t be a particularly popular thing to say but… it all depends on how they were killed if you ask me. If he killed them quickly and ate them it’s no worse than killing any other animal to eat really? Is it? Go on cat lovers, get cross with me.
