2) Yulia Tymoshenko
Tymoshenko was the first female Prime Minister of Ukraine, serving from 24 January to 8 September 2005, and again from 18 December 2007 to 4 March 2010.
Her famous hair-do makes her look like a porn star who’s acting the role of a German milk monitor or something. She was instrumental in Ukraine’s Orange Revolution — where in 2004 the country came to a stand still following a Communist-backed, rigged election. Yulia was deemed the Joan of Arc of the Revolution.
She also spent two and a half years behind bars after some trumped up “abuse of power” charges. Whilst inside she got beaten unconscious by a guard and went on hunger strike. Quite a character, and also an all round tough cookie.
