4. Dark Days
Dark days is a little more hard hitting. We move from smoking weed on the rolling hills of Jamaica to smoking crack in the train tunnels of NYC. This documentary follows a group of homeless people who have boycotted the world of fresh air, sun light and normality to live underground. Half way through the film you almost forget that these guys are homeless, I mean they’ve built actual houses, they have TVs, lamps, pets and businesses going on down there. It is a grimy as shit film, but you won’t be able to stop watching it.
NOTE: Not a film for a comedown. It’s depressing enough.
