7) Great White – Hooked (1991)

Is this so bad? A woman dangling off of a hook? Yeah I suppose it was a bit much, there’s a pretty healthy portion of side wab on display I guess. But a ban seems a bit OTT. Well, the band had no choice and went with the image below instead.

8) Pantera – Far Beyond Driven (1994)

Back in ’94 I was all over this album like a rash. I never knew that the original art work was banned though. It’s kind of subtle until you realise it’s a massive drill being placed where the sun don’t shine. The blue skull below is what most Pantera fans remember.

9) Roxy Music – Country Life (1974)

Yeah, so, not much subtlety here. Unsurprisingly the moral majority in 70’s USA objected long and hard to this one. The record company had to backtrack and bring out the most boring album cover of all time.
