I’m always talking about how I really enjoy the time travellers on TikTok who are constantly claiming all this nonsense about the future that they’ve returned from and regularly being proven wrong. It’s a great subgenre of social media that’s cropped up over the past couple of years – you can’t really deny that.

Anyway, one man who has a better claim than most as to actually being a time traveler is an account known as ‘world cup time traveler’. Got any idea what he might post about?

The guy/girl actually managed to predict some results in the Euro 2020 tournament with Italy beating England on penalties in the final and England beating Ukraine 4-0 on the way and now they’ve decided to reveal the outcome of this year’s World Cup.

Well, what do you think? Brazil beating France 2-1 in the final with goals from Marquinhos, Griezmann and Richarlison doesn’t sound a million miles away from something that might actually happen in this tournament, but are you willing to go down the bookies and stick a wedge on it?
