‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury (may have) bowed out in style of Saturday night with a sixth round knockout of Dillian Whyte in front of 94,000 people at Wembley Stadium, but there were some people that accused Whyte of taking a dive as they didn’t think that Fury had hit him that hard with the uppercut that eventually put him down.

I’ve gotta admit that upon watching the fight in real time, it did look like a bit of a soft shot and even some of the immediate replays didn’t do it justice, but this reverse angled slow motion video I found on Twitter shows the knockout in all its glory. Take a look at this and see if you think Whyte was still taking a dive:

Bang, that really was all she wrote and it’s not as surprising that Whyte could barely stand up or walk in a straight line after taking a shot like that. Brutal.

Sadly, it also seems that that’s all she wrote for Tyson Fury too, who says that he promised his wife he wouldn’t fight again after this one, although even she said that the only thing he would come back for is the unification fight against Joshua or Usyk. That could potentially happen before the end of the year and would be absolutely humongous, so let’s hope that Fury changes his mind on that one. The whole world will be watching.

For more of the same, check out this Wendy’s employee knocking out a kid for starting on him. Similar vibes.
