In what might be one of the most brutal crimes of the year, a mum in Sicily has recently been found guilty of beating and strangling her eight-year-old son after he walked in on her having sex with his granddad.

In case you were wondering, that granddad was Veronica Panarello’s father-in-law, so it wasn’t an incestuous relationship. That would just add a whole other dark spin on this already fucked up story. Still messed up nevertheless.

Panarello has been sentenced to 30 years in court after she was found guilty of strangling her son Loris Stival with electrical cables, before throwing his body into a ditch near their family home.

During the court case the judge stated that the murder had been premeditated and was carried out with cruelty as the body was discovered with brutal wounds and scratch marks all over his skin. Panarello tried to put the blame on the kid’s paternal grandfather, by saying that she was having an affair with him and that he had in fact killed the kid so that he wouldn’t tell anyone.

However, her actions following the murder appeared guilty, as she initially told the officers that her kid had not come home from school. Then she tried to say that his death was an accident that happened when he was playing with cables. So on top of the murder, Panarello now also faces charges of slander against the father-in-law.

All-in-all, this bitch sounds crazy. Even if she was having an affair with the granddad (which is incredibly fucked up as it is), there’s no need to murder your kid because of it. She could’ve just bribed him with cool shit, or split up with the husband even.

Nothing’s worse than having the blood of your dead kid on your hands. Aside from having the blood of your dead kid AND your cat on your hands.
